Remembering

(Cyril) Harold Vaughan

15th May 1928 - 26th December 2020

Aged 92

Harold is pictured at a WEBC club social before he succumbed to poor health

Harold's was a gentleman, with twinkle in his eye. He will be greatly missed by us all.

Covid restrictions meant that few could attend his funeral service (held on 22nd January 2021).

Donations in Harold's memory should be made to Cancer Research

via the Dignity Funerals website.

It would be safe to say that Harold was a train fanatic! Be they full size or models, his knowledge and enthusiasm knew no bounds.

Below are photographs of one of the floral tributes.

After the service, and with the permission of the family, this was moved to the grounds of

Windsor and Eton Bowling Club

where it was placed at the foot of the flag pole in front of the pavilion.

Below are a few pictures scanned from the printed Order of Service presented at Harold's funeral.

The quality of the scans is not good.

I hope to source better, original images soon.
